| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept all major credit cards. Payment will be taken when you place your order, and all orders must be paid for in full in advance of receiving the goods. We only accept payment in GBP. If you are shopping from outside of the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
| Shipping And Handling UK orders up to 2kg in weight are sent using Royal Mail 2nd class. Orders over 2kg are sent either 1st class, 2nd class as multiple parcels, standard parcel or with a courier (whichever is cheapest). This service for UK customers is included in the price of the products. You can upgrade to a faster or more expensive service if you would like to - please contact us for a quote. Shipping for overseas orders is charged at cost. We will email you with the shipping charge asking for your confirmation to proceed when we have received your order. We will not add a shipping cost and charge the extra amount to your card without your permission. The cost of the shipping may appear as a separate transaction on your card statement. |
| Delivery Schedule **Please note, we are closed between 2pm on 23rd December 2011 and 9am on 3rd January 2012. All orders placed while we are closed will be processed and despatched when we reopen.** Included in the price of the goods is the cost of sending UK orders under 2kg with Royal Mail using 2nd class post. We aim to process your order straight away and most orders throughout the year are despatched within two working days. However, we do have times of the year (particularly in the run up to Christmas or if our catalogue has just been mailed) when we become extremely busy and are not able to despatch orders as quickly. At these times, we aim to despatch your order within 10 days, but please be assured that we have a 100% track-record for despatching orders in time for pre-Christmas delivery (unless we have contacted you to indicate otherwise because an item may be out of stock for example). If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know and we will discuss with you the appropriate delivery options. Royal Mail 2nd class post usually takes between 2 and 6 days; 1st class is usually 1 to 3 days. International orders weighing under 2kg are sent either using airmail which takes approximately 5 working days or surface mail, which can take up to 8 weeks. Please note, items posted to UK addresses are not officially 'lost' in Royal Mail's eyes until 15 working days after they were despatched. If your goods have not arrived as quickly as expected, please ask at your local sorting office because delayed orders can frequently be found there. If your order hasn't arrived after 15 working days of despatch, please contact us and we will be more than happy to send a duplicate order and a simple claim form for you to complete and return to us in a prepaid envelope. |

| Returns Policy At Simon Lucas Bridge Supplies we want you to be happy with your purchases and want you to find the right product for your needs. Our staff have an in-depth knowledge of the products we sell and are more than happy to advise you if you need some help. Just call us on 01380 829922 if you need some help in choosing your products. We have a no-quibble returns policy and will accept back for a full refund returned goods that are sent back within 60 days provided they are in their original, undamaged packaging and still in a saleable condition. After 8 working days upon receipt of your order, we will not refund the extra cost of postage if you upgraded your original order to a faster service (ie we will refund the full cost of the item which includes 2nd class postage, but we won't refund the cost of 1st class or Special Delivery if you had upgraded to this service). We are not liable for the costs you incur in returning your unwanted goods to us and suggest that you obtain proof of postage as we cannot accept responsibility for returned items that go missing in transit.
