Luxury Burgundy Velvet Bridge Cloth – Greek Key Tapestry Border
The Luxury Burgundy Velvet Bridge Cloth – Greek Key Tapestry Border is the top-of-the-range cloth in our Versailles Collection. The Versailles Collection is an exquisite range of cloths handmade from luxurious deep pile velvet and heavyweight edgings. Available in a rich and sumptuous burgundy velvet which absorbs the light when you look at the cloth in one direction and reflects it so beautifully when looking at it from the opposite side. The 100% cotton velvet is British made and has a particularly deep pile for added luxury. We’ve selected it for its light absorption and reflective qualities, as well as its cushioning of the playing surface. The wonderful heavyweight tapestry border, also British made, is a Greek Key design in a subtle antique shade of gold and burgundy to beautifully co-ordinate with the velvet.
We don’t keep stock of these cloths ready made. We make the Versailles Collection cloths to order. Each luxury velvet bridge cloth with Greek key tapestry border takes several hours of skilled workmanship to produce so your order will take a few days longer than usual to despatch, but we promise that the wait will be worthwhile. When your cloth has been made for you, we pack it neatly with layers of crisp white tissue paper in a handsome handmade box so that it reaches you in peak condition. Designed to store you cloth in between games to keep it in the best condition, the presentation box has a white ribbed lid and navy blue base to match the colour of the cloth.
The luxury burgundy velvet bridge cloth – Greek key tapestry border measures approximately 45 inches / 114cm square. It has the perfect amount of drape when used to cover a standard card table. Larger and bespoke shapes and sizes can be made to order. All our bridge cloths are lovingly handmade by us in our workshop in Devizes.
