Delivery Schedule

We aim to process your order straight away and most orders throughout the year are despatched within two working days. Personalised items take longer as they need to be made for you – please allow 14 days.  We do have times of the year (particularly in the run up to Christmas or if our catalogue has just been mailed) when we become extremely busy and are not able to despatch orders as quickly. At these times, we aim to despatch your order within 10 days, but please be assured that we have a 100% track-record for despatching orders in time for pre-Christmas delivery (unless we have contacted you to indicate otherwise because an item may be out of stock for example). If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know and we will discuss with you the appropriate delivery options. Royal Mail 2nd class post usually takes between 2 and 6 days; 1st class is usually 1 to 3 days. International orders weighing under 2kg are sent either using airmail which takes approximately 5 working days or a tracked service.

Please note, items posted to UK addresses are not officially ‘lost’ in Royal Mail’s eyes until 15 working days after they were despatched. If your goods have not arrived as quickly as expected, please ask at your local sorting office because delayed orders can frequently be found there. If your order hasn’t arrived 15 working days after despatch, please contact us and we will send you a replacement order. Please note, we are not compensated by Royal Mail for orders they lose, so we can only send replacement orders after 15 working days have passed.

Shipping & Handling

UK mainland customers have a choice of shipping options depending on the speed of delivery you require: Standard Delivery (normally 1-6 working days), 1st class (normally 1-3 working days) and Next Working Day (which is despatched either with Royal Mail Special Delivery or with ParcelForce). Please note, for the Next Working Day delivery service, please place your order before 12pm. Orders placed outside of working hours will be deemed as having been placed the next-working day, so for example, orders placed on a Friday afternoon requesting a Next Working Day service will be processed and despatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

UK customers who live in the Scottish Highlands or off the coast of mainland Britain (Parcel Force postcode Zones 2, 3, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands) may need to pay a shipping surcharge, depending on the size and weight of your order. If this is the case we’ll contact you and ask for your confirmation to proceed. Please be assured we won’t charge a surcharge to your card without your permission. Once agreed, the cost of the surcharge may appear as a separate transaction on your card statement.

Certain heavy, bulky or valuable items have a shipping surcharge per item regardless of where you live.

Orders of £60.01 or more are entitled to free shipping using our Standard Delivery service provided that the delivery address is within Zone 1 of the Parcel Force UK postcode schedule. Orders over £60.00 to UK addresses in postcode Zones 2, 3, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands will be sent free of shipping charges provided that the weight of the order is under 2KG. Heavy/bulky orders to postcode Zones 2, 3, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands will have a shipping surcharge. We will contact you before processing your order if there is a surcharge to pay.
