Our website is now over 10 years old and requires a refresh. While we’re doing so we have taken the time to update our branding to represent our business values better.

What Changes Are Coming?

Firstly we’ll be introducing subtle changes to our current website. Including our new brand identity (see below) and making small changes to the website that aligns it visually with the new website.

Alongside this we’ll be applying the new branding to our invoices and eventually to our own brand products.

What Will The New Website Look Like?

Our new website will have a more modern appearance, which has been pared down to make it visually less complicated. The image below shows how the new homepage will look.

All the categories and headings that are on our current site will be the same on the new site so navigating around will be the same.

Why the Change?

As a small family business our core value is offering distinct, high quality, handmade products.

Simon started his business by making baize bridge cloths from the very best British materials, and the quality of his workmanship was quickly noticed by luxury London stores Harrods and Selfridges who became his first major customers.

Subsequently adding handmade beautiful wooden games and sets of hand-foiled gaming pieces to his range. Simon’s work came to the attention of Mr Bridge, who he first supplied, then managed Mr Bridge Mail Order, before acquiring the business, calling it Simon Lucas Bridge Supplies, and running it with his wife Andrea.

Now reaching a wider audience, we started producing a more extensive range of handmade items, and today we’re very proud of what we make. It’s a little known fact that when you order many of the items from our range, whether it’s a twin pack of cards, or a bridge cloth, a gift set or set of score card holders, we make that very item for you – to order.

Changing our branding and brand image is part of our company’s evolution. It reflects the quality and refinement that we offer with all of our own brand products.

What About Bridge?

We will continue to sell the products we are renown for. Continuing to make all our own brand products here in Devizes, using traditional craft skills and British made materials.
