The Iguana Score Card Holders can be summed up in one word – fabulous! As many of our customers know, we make lots of our products and packaging ourselves. This means we have a shelf full of books of art papers. Flicking through one day we swooned when we saw these incredible Iguana skin papers! The iridescent colours range from zingy and bright to dark and mysterious. Our immediate thought was how fantastic they’d look as score card holders.

First we made a prototype to check that the texture doesn’t affect your writing, which it doesn’t. In fact, it had no affect at all. So, you can give your fellow players a perfect surface to write on and protect your cloth and bridge table from unsightly pen marks at the same time. Following that we set about lovingly making them by hand in our workshop in Devizes. It takes over 15 different processes to make each holder. Each process is done by our small, skilled team with the utmost care.

Choose Your Colours

There are nine incredible colours in our range of Iguana Score Card Holders (UPDATE: the blue papers have been discontinued by the supplier). Rather than put them in sets of colours that we like, we thought it would be great if you could choose your own colours so you get a set that’s special to you. You could have all 4 the same, or go for team colours (2 pairs of colours) – the choice is yours.

Score Cards

Simple to use, just slip the corners of your score card under the two corner pockets and it will be held in place. Rather helpfully, these score card holders are a universal size, so they will hold our standard rubber and Chicago score cards.  This means you only need to have one set of holders rather than two or three, which saves you money.

Size

The Iguana Score Card Holders measure 9.5 x 20.5cm, to fit our score cards that measure 8.2 x 19.4cm. Please note, the Iguana Score Card Holders are not suitable for our personalised score cards.

Contains Latex

The paper we’ve used to make the Iguana Score Card Holders is impregnated with latex, so the holders are not suitable for use by those who have an allergy to this substance.

We’re pleased to tell you that the Iguana Score Card Holders are covered with papers that have been embossed with a glossy leather-effect Iguana skin design. Therefore no Iguana’s were harmed in the making of this fabulous product. We’re an ethically and environmentally minded company. There are many products for the bridge market that are currently made in the Far East. This makes them more well travelled than all the staff at Simon Lucas Bridge Supplies collectively! However, not our handmade products, which are all produced in our Devizes workshop.

Our aim is to make beautiful, design-led own-brand products that are made in the UK. Reducing the distance the products travel makes them a more environmentally friendly option. We mostly use fabric and paper-based materials for our products so that they’re recyclable and the materials come from renewable sources. Offcuts of these beautiful papers are given to the local schools for craft projects. We recycle any paper or board that can’t be reused. Additionally, the Iguana score card holders are REACH compliant.
