A bidding buddy or bidding box is designed to enable players to make their bids silently, and provide a visual record of the bidding process. Also useful for those who are hard of hearing.

The Bidding Buddies (also known as a Bid Buddy) are compact folding bidding boxes from the market leader Jannersten. Because of their compact size, they’re ideal for home and club use where storage is an issue (when folded for storage they’re approximately half the height of a Neo box). Also ideal for carrying to games.

This set of 4 bidding boxes comes with 100% plastic bidding cards in a medium weight of plastic. Although the life-span of plastic cards is roughly the same as the standard cardboard version, the advantage they offer is that they can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, and won’t dog-ear over time.  Eventually the print may wear off, or they may become brittle, so our experience is that they last about the same length of time as the standard paper-based cards.  However, we also sell individual replacement bidding cards, 100% plastic, so you can replace the odd card here and there as needed rather than buying a whole new set.  You can always trust us to be honest with you!

Sold in sets of four, three colours of boxes are available: red, green or navy. Choose single colours for your set of four boxes or have a mixed set of two colours if you’d prefer team colours for North/South and East/West.
